چکیده :
Light is the key to perceiving space and the most important characteristic of Iranian architecture that has been used for a long time in Iranian traditional architecture. In fact, the metaphysic manifestation of light on the physic of building has made it the central focus of architectural aesthetics and architects have made incredible use of its capabilities in the functioning of meaning, by understanding the features and their effects on space performance; which directly affects the quality of perception of space. Based on research on Iranian traditional houses, it is determined that there are various lights to provide natural lighting in this building. This study aims to empirically and quantitatively review the laws governing the lighting of Iranian buildings and the role of lighters in the pattern of natural light distribution in traditional houses summer / winter rooms, while analyzing two indices of this category of Kashan Houses - Tabatabai House as Bride of Iranian Houses and Boroujerdi House as Architectural Symbols of Kashan Houses - seek to find an answer to the question that how much daylight in the summer / winter rooms of case studies, did the daylight standards match? It seems that the designed lighting pattern of traditional architecture in this climate and the geometric proportions of the building can meet the need for ambient lighting and activity in these houses. Therefore, extracting the lighting pattern of this building and extending it to other houses can be a solution for designing the natural lighting of today's building.
