چکیده مقاله:
The use of pesticides is growing extensively worldwide. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a rapid and reliable method for the detection of pesticides in various samples. Cypermethrin is a broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide used in agricultural products. Due to its environmental persistence and bioaccumulation potential, it is recognized as a contaminant of concern in water resources. In this study, a nanocomposite based on a metal-organic framework (MOF) UiO-۶۶ functionalized with magnetic iron oxide (Fe۳O۴) nanoparticles was synthesized for the selective removal of the cypermethrin pesticide from water resources. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to investigate the morphology of the synthesized nanocomposite. The response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize and evaluate the effective parameters in the adsorption of cypermethrin by this nanocomposite. The optimal adsorption conditions of pH, dosage, and time were determined, and the overall results showed that under optimal conditions, the adsorption percentage of the cypermethrin pesticide is ۹۵%. This research indicates that the UiO-۶۶/Fe۳O۴ nanocomposite is an effective and reusable material for the removal of cypermethrin pesticide from water and can be useful in the treatment of water contaminated with this chemical.
