چکیده مقاله:
Zeolites are used as catalysts with a wide adjustable surface due to their selectivity and inherent acidity. The acidic properties of Zeolites are dependent on the amount of aluminum in their framework. To improve the catalytic properties of Zeolites, their surfaces are modified or enhanced with specific materials, one of which involves functionalizing them with APTS. Biochar is charcoal produced from plant biomass and agricultural waste. It is a carbon-rich material derived from organic matter with oxygen, formed under specific thermal combustion conditions. Biochar-based catalysts have significant roles due to their environmental compatibility, low cost, and ease of production. To prepare the composite of these two materials, zeolite was first functionalized through several steps, and then biochar was added to it. Finally, the composite was synthesized under various conditions. To investigate its adsorption and catalytic properties, experiments will be conducted involving X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), thermal analysis (TGA/DTA), specific surface area analysis (BET), and others to confirm its properties.
