چکیده مقاله:

The development of advanced hybrid materials combining metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with functional polymers represents a transformative approach in materials science and catalysis, offering synergistic advantages that overcome limitations of individual components. These hybrid systems combine the exceptional porosity, tunable structures, and high surface areas of MOFs with the versatile functionality, processability, and stability of polymers. This unique combination enables enhanced catalytic activity, improved material stability, and tailored functionality while maintaining structural integrity. This work demonstrates an environmentally benign approach for synthesizing polymer-MOF composites without the need for chemical additives. The resulting hybrid material exhibited outstanding performance in photocatalytic applications, particularly for the selective oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes under mild conditions. Remarkably, the system achieves high efficiency without requiring sacrificial agents or harsh oxidants, operating solely under visible light irradiation at low temperature.
