چکیده مقاله:
Covalent organic polymers (COPs) have emerged as a promising class of functional materials due to their tunable porosity, high surface area, and broad applicability in diverse fields including catalysis, energy storage, and environmental remediation. Visible-light photocatalysis is rapidly developing as a sustainable strategy for organic transformations, offering energy-efficient reactions under mild conditions. In this context, we present a porous organic polymer/BiOBr nanocomposite designed for visible-light-driven photocatalysis. The nanocomposite demonstrated outstanding photocatalytic performance in the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde under visible light irradiation without requiring additional oxidants. Remarkably, the catalyst maintained its initial activity after several consecutive cycles, highlighting its exceptional stability and reusability. The demonstrated approach offers a green alternative to conventional thermal catalytic processes, with potential applications in fine chemical synthesis and renewable energy conversion.
