چکیده مقاله:

This paper examines the Akbarian (Musa Akbari) lineage in Eastern Iran, focusing on their role in preserving and transmitting cultural-genetic memory and Scythian-Iranian identity through oral traditions and mythologies. Drawing upon available data, the paper explores the family's mythical lineage from Ahura, Gayomart, and Shahnameh heroes, as well as their narratives of migration and interactions with ancient civilizations and dominant powers (including the Sasanian and Arab periods). Beyond historical records, this study delves into the family's deep-seated beliefs and intrinsic values, such as the sacredness of the Russian olive tree and the covenant of family name change. Finally, by presenting contemporary and historical examples of the family's bravery, the paper emphasizes the significance of peripheral narratives in understanding the rich Iranian civilization and highlights the challenges in documenting oral history.
