This paper explores the intricate relationship between language and culture, emphasizing their dynamic and reciprocal influences. Drawing upon foundational theories such as the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis and contemporary research in sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, and applied linguistics, this study examines how language both reflects and shapes cultural identity and cognition. The paper further discusses practical implications in language education and intercultural communication, while addressing the impact of globalization. It concludes that the interdependence between language and culture is essential for understanding the complexities of human communication and societal development.
