چکیده مقاله:
This review examines the impact of nutritional status on the health and academic performance of adolescent girls. Using data from reputable scientific databases such as PubMed, SID, and Google Scholar (۲۰۰۸-۲۰۲۵), the findings confirm that good nutrition is essential for optimal physical and mental development during adolescence. Adequate intake of essential nutrients—including vitamins and minerals—has been shown to support mental health, enhance cognitive functions, and improve physical capacity, thereby positively impacting academic achievement in this population. In contrast, poor nutritional habits and deficiencies can lead to physical and mental problems such as impaired concentration, reduced learning ability, and reduced academic performance. These adverse effects underscore the importance of strategic interventions at the policy level. Implementing targeted nutrition policies and designing educational programs to increase awareness about healthy nutrition are important steps toward promoting health and better educational outcomes among adolescent girls.
