چکیده مقاله:

Background and Objective: In a world of rapidly expanding health information, integrating health literacy with wearable technologies bridges knowledge and personal care. The rapid advancement of wearable devices alongside increasing health literacy offers new opportunities. This systematic review aims to evaluate the applications and challenges of integrating health literacy with wearable devices to improve individual health outcomes. Methods: A systematic review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines by searching PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE Xplore for articles published between ۲۰۱۴ and ۲۰۲۵. After screening and applying inclusion criteria, ۳۰ high-quality studies were selected. Results: Of the ۳۰ studies, ۱۹ (۶۳%) focused on wearable technologies' impact on health literacy, ۱۵ (۵۰%) on user engagement and behavior change, and ۱۱ (۳۷%) on clinical outcomes monitoring. Common devices included smartwatches (۲۰ studies), fitness trackers (۱۵), health bracelets (۱۰), and biosensors (۸). These technologies combined with health literacy interventions improved users’ understanding and management of chronic conditions. Integration facilitated personalized feedback, early risk detection, and promoted preventive behaviors. Conclusion: Integrating health literacy and wearable technologies offers promising solutions for personal health management; however, challenges like data privacy, user access, and evaluation standardization remain. Future studies should optimize integration strategies and develop ethical frameworks.
