چکیده مقاله:

Exercise, as an effective physical activity, has a wide range of impacts on individuals' physical, mental, and cognitive health. Recent research has shown that exercise not only helps improve cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure, but also has positive effects on mental health and brain function. One of the most important mechanisms of exercise effects on the brain is the increase in the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). BDNF, as a key protein, plays a vital role in enhancing neuroplasticity, improving cognitive function, memory, and preventing brain disorders and neurological diseases. Numerous studies indicate that various types of exercise, including endurance exercises such as running, cycling, and swimming, strength training like weightlifting, and resistance training, can increase BDNF levels in the brain. This increase in BDNF strengthens neural connections, improves synaptic function, and enhances neuronal survival, all of which lead to improved cognitive and psychological performance. Exercise, as a daily activity, can play an effective role in promoting mental health and brain function. Regular exercise is recognized as an effective strategy for maintaining physical health and also as a powerful tool for enhancing mental health and brain function. These scientific achievements demonstrate that engaging in exercise as a daily activity can significantly improve quality of life and prevent brain-related diseases. Promoting and encouraging exercise in communities can contribute to improving public health and reducing the burden of chronic and neurological diseases.
