چکیده مقاله:
The Zagros orogenic belt, a highly seismically active region in Iran, has been extensively studied due to its significant earthquake activity. This research focuses on the southern Zagros' seismic behavior over the past decade through detailed statistical analysis. Advanced statistical techniques and numerical modeling were employed to investigate key seismogenic parameters, including earthquake occurrence rates, epicenter distribution, focal depths, and moment magnitudes, along with their relationships to subsurface geological structures. The findings deepen our understanding of the region's seismic patterns and dynamics, providing valuable insights for accurate earthquake hazard assessments and seismic hazard zoning. This study also enhances earthquake simulation models and supports evaluations of structural performance during seismic events. Ultimately, these results offer critical tools for urban planning, crisis management, and structural retrofitting in the southern Zagros.
