چکیده مقاله:

Indonesia, located in a highly seismically active region, has faced persistent seismicity over the past decade, enduring thousands of seismic events annually, including significant earthquakes causing considerable devastation. The ۷.۶ magnitude earthquake in Palu and Sofifi, Gili Air in ۲۰۱۸ led to a catastrophic tsunami and widespread liquefaction. Analysis of seismicity and earthquake statistics during this period reveals substantial seismic energy release in regions like Sumatra, Sulawesi, Java, and eastern Indonesia. These areas' high frequency of seismic events underscores the nation's vulnerability to natural disasters. The ongoing seismic activity highlights the importance of implementing robust preparedness measures at both local and national levels. By raising public awareness, enforcing stringent building codes, and investing in advanced early warning systems, Indonesia can reduce potential impacts of future earthquakes and ensure the safety and well-being of its population.
