چکیده مقاله:
Wearable devices play an important role in remote monitoring of patients' conditions these days. Future predictions of healthcare show us how artificial intelligence and smart technologies can improve all stages of our lives and what place wearable technologies and the Internet of Things have in the future healthcare system. Accordingly, the present study aims to investigate the impact of smart homes on elderly care and the main research question is what impact do wearable technologies have on elderly health monitoring? The research is descriptive-analytical. This study aims to investigate the impact of wearable technologies on the quality of life and self-care of the elderly and analyzes and compares data and results from previous articles in this field in order to gain a better understanding of how these technologies affect improving the health and quality of life of elderly people. In this study, after reviewing ۳۰ articles, ۱۵ articles with full text and available abstracts were selected after evaluating the titles. Considering the findings of the study and reviewing other studies conducted in the field of helping wearable devices to improve the lives of the elderly, it can be concluded that health technologies facilitate the continuous access of the elderly to health services. Wearable systems can be used at home, which reduces the costs of physical check-ups and also reduces the risk of hospitalization. Therefore, the use of smart wearable systems that can be used anywhere plays an important role in facilitating the process of providing health care and reducing the social burden associated with it for the elderly.
