چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Maternal and neonatal health remains a major global health priority, with significant implications for both short- and long-term outcomes. Collaborative care models, integrating multiple professional perspectives, have demonstrated potential to enhance the quality, safety, and accessibility of care. This systematic review aimed to synthesize current evidence on integrated clinical, educational, and research strategies that improve maternal and neonatal health through interprofessional collaboration. Methods: Following PRISMA ۲۰۲۰ guidelines, a comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and CINAHL for studies published between January ۲۰۱۰ and December ۲۰۲۴. Eligible articles included randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, qualitative research, and systematic reviews focusing on collaborative interventions in maternal and neonatal care. Data were extracted on study design, setting, intervention type, and key outcomes. Risk of bias was assessed for all studies. Results: Out of ۱,۳۴۶ records identified, ۵۲ studies met the inclusion criteria. Interventions were implemented in hospital, community, and rural settings across diverse healthcare systems. Clinical integration strategies—such as joint management of antenatal care, labor, and postpartum services—improved early detection of obstetric complications, reduced maternal morbidity by up to ۱۸%, and decreased neonatal complications by ۱۲%. Educational initiatives, particularly simulation-based training and interprofessional workshops, enhanced provider competencies, communication, and teamwork. Research collaborations facilitated the creation of evidence-based guidelines and context-specific protocols. Barriers included unclear role definitions, limited institutional support, and interprofessional conflicts, while facilitators included policy backing, shared electronic health records, and consistent joint training sessions. Conclusion: Collaborative care models are effective, adaptable, and scalable approaches to improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. Integrating clinical practice with ongoing education and research fosters a holistic care environment, optimizes resource utilization, and promotes patient-centered health services. Policymakers and healthcare leaders should prioritize structured training, supportive policies, and sustainable funding to enhance and sustain collaborative maternal and neonatal healthcare delivery.
