چکیده مقاله:

In the last few decades, cutting-edge technology like geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing have become essential instruments for managing soil and water resources, especially when it comes to designing drainage networks in agricultural areas as efficiently as possible. Accurate identification of regions in need of drainage and thorough hydrological analysis are made possible by remote sensing's capacity to provide exact spatiotemporal data, including soil moisture, vegetation cover, and topography differences. In parallel, GIS is essential for designing drainage routes, assessing network performance, and simulating different situations using multilayer analysis and spatial modeling. The incorporation of these technologies facilitates resource optimization, cost reduction, and environmental effect mitigation while improving the drainage network design process's accuracy, efficiency, and speed. Case studies from both domestic and foreign settings show that using these methods not only increases agricultural output but also lays the groundwork for long-term, sustainable management of soil and water resources in the face of harsh weather. The integration of cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things with remote sensing and GIS holds promise for this field's future. This strategy offers the creation of highly precise, adaptive, intelligent, and autonomous drainage systems that can meet the intricate requirements of contemporary agriculture. Therefore, a practical and economical route to sustainable agriculture and ideal natural resource management is the strategic and scientific application of these technologies.
