چکیده مقاله:

This article concentrates on advancing Carbon Nanotube (CNT) technology, specifically focusing on the fabrication of vertically aligned CNTs (VACNTs), the most effective variants. It delves into diverse methodologies required to grow VACNTs effectively. The paper explores multiple Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) techniques that facilitate the vertical orientation of CNT growth on different substrates. The paper highlights the precision involved in catalyst engineering and the selection of appropriate carbon sources. Acknowledging the role of catalyst longevity in determining the dimensions of CNTs, the article presents comprehensive strategies to prevent catalyst deactivation. It further discusses the choice of substrates, e.g., their influence on the morphology and structural integrity of the produced CNTs. To reduce the cost of manufacturing VACNTs, the paper promotes using eco-friendly waste materials as carbon sources. The discussions and findings aim to refine the VACNT production process in a manner that is economical and conducive to mass production.
