چکیده مقاله:
Additive manufacturing or ۳D printing is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies in the ۲۱st century that has been increasingly used in various industrial fields. However, the implementation of this technology in heavy industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, aerospace and marine industries is accompanied by numerous challenges. This article aims to examine the main challenges of implementing ۳D printing in these fields, and analyzes the technical, economic, cultural and infrastructural barriers to these barriers. The present study was conducted with a descriptive-analytical approach and using questionnaire data among experts in these industries. The results showed that the lack of standardization, lack of specialized skills and high cost of equipment are among the most important barriers in this direction. In addition, concerns about the quality of the parts produced, uncertainty about their durability and performance under harsh operating conditions, and limitations related to the raw materials that can be used in ۳D printing are other important challenges. Also, an organizational culture resistant to change and insufficient awareness about the benefits and capabilities of this new technology have caused a slow adoption. On the other hand, technological infrastructure and financing also play a key role in facilitating or hindering implementation. Finally, the article offers suggestions for improving the process of transferring ۳D printing technology to heavy industries, including the importance of developing national and international standards, investing in specialized workforce training, strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation, and establishing specialized research and development centers.
