چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the encapsulation of naphthalimide derivatives into G۰.۵ PAMAM dendrimer nanoparticles to enhance anticancer activity and explore their potential for advanced coating applications. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized in terms of size, stability, and surface charge using TEM, DLS, and zeta potential measurements. G۰.۵ PAMAM NPs exhibited a small size of approximately ۱۰ nm by TEM and demonstrated good colloidal stability with a zeta potential of -۲۷.۳ mV. Encapsulation of the anticancer agents led to variations in nanoparticle size, with Amonafide-NP and Candidate-NP measuring ۱۵ nm and ۴۰ nm by TEM, respectively. Stability and cytotoxicity assessments revealed that Candidate-NP exhibited the lowest IC۵۰ value of ۲۳.۴۳ ± ۶.۷۸ µM, demonstrating superior anticancer activity compared to Amonafide-NP (IC۵۰ = ۳۱.۷۵ ± ۷.۶۳ μM). The results suggest that Candidate-NP has improved anticancer properties under the tested conditions. This study provides additional data on dendrimer-based drug delivery systems and their potential applications in cancer treatment.
