The impact of the sexual cognitive reconstruction education on the sexual satisfaction and sexual elf-esteem in women with sexual

The goal of this research was studying the impact of the sexual cognitive reconstruction education on the sexual satisfaction and sexual self-esteem in women with sexual problems. The research method was semi-experimental that was done with pre-test post-test multi-group design. The research statistical population including the whole of the women in age range ۲۵ to ۴۰ with sexual problems had referred to the Psychotherapy Centers for Sexual Disorders in Ardabil City in the year ۲۰۲۲.The research sample number were ۳۰ people who were selected by convenience sampling method and they were replaced in two groups of sexual cognitive reconstruction (۱۵ people) randomly and control group (۱۵ people) in simple random way. Collecting data was done by using the questionnaire of female sexual function index (Rosen & et al, ۲۰۰۰), the questionnaire of sexual satisfaction (Hudson & et al, ۱۹۸۱) and female sexual self-esteem index (Zeanah & Schwarz, ۱۹۹۶). The cognitive reconstruction education was presented to experimental group in eight sessions lasting ۷۵ minutes. Analyzing data was done by using the multivariate analysis of covariance test following SPSS۲۰ software. The research findings indicated that sexual cognitive reconstruction education effects on incensement of the sexual satisfaction (P<۰.۰۰۱, F=۷۰۸.۵۰) and sexual self-esteem (P<۰.۰۰۱, F=۱۳۹.۴۵) in experimental group. Therefore, it can be said that the sexual cognitive reconstruction education can increase the amount of sexual satisfaction and sexual self-esteem in women with sexual problems.
