چکیده مقاله:

Cancer is a great threat to global public health. It is one of the main causes of significant morbidity and global deaths per year in ۲۰۲۲, approximately ۱,۹۱۸,۰۳۰ cancer cases and ۶۰۹,۳۶۰ cancer related deaths were reported, and ۲۶ million new cancer cases are projected to occur by ۲۰۳۰. Monoclonal antibodies possess a diverse set of clinically relevant mechanisms of action. In addition, antibodies can directly target tumor cells while simultaneously promoting the induction of long-lasting anti-tumor immune responses. Antibodies are unique in their ability to both directly kill tumor cells while simultaneously engage the host immune system to develop long-lasting effector responses against the tumor. Targeted mAbs against antigens either unique to or overexpressed by tumor cells can cause tumor cell death by a variety mechanism.
