چکیده مقاله:

This research studies the effects of gamification strategies, aligns with artificial intelligence (AI), on enhancing motivation and collaborative learning among Iranian EFL learners. According to theories of educational psychology and language acquisition, the study focuses on how gamified activities and AI-driven tools can transform the traditional and monotonous EFL classroom to a more interactive and learner-centered environment through applying challenging tasks. Data is collected through mixed methods, including questionnaires, classroom observations, and specific group interviews. Initial findings suggest that using AI-powered gamification increases learner engagement, fosters peer collaboration, and supplies language proficiency. The study also highlights implications for curriculum design and provides practical recommendations for EFL educators. In the EFL classrooms where technology is utilized, it’s crucial to investigate how new digital tools, such as AI, can boost motivation through strategies like gamification. This study sets out to explore how blending AI tools and gamification can address the lack of engagement and collaboration that often hinders language learning in a more traditional learning environment. The insights from this research could offer practical and innovative teaching techniques, especially in Iran, where learners meet distinctive linguistic and cultural challenges.
