Background and Aims: Contemporary human existence is characterized by intricate complexities and, similar to the experiences of Alice in Wonderland, is replete with unforeseen developments; thus, the integration of interdisciplinary sciences and innovative methodologies is imperative for the promotion of well-being. In the present epoch, wherein artificial intelligence exerts considerable influence over various facets of human life, its ramifications on the digital health of children emerge as a pivotal and significant concern that warrants thorough investigation through the lens of childhood social studies. Should we approach the concept of children's health by considering not only the physical but also the psychological, social, and spiritual, it becomes evident that artificial intelligence and the digital environment possess a dynamic role with children and their overall health, necessitating focused scholarly attention. Methods: literature review with an interdisciplinary approach Results: Through the lens of childhood studies, the conceptual understanding of childhood within contemporary society has experienced considerable evolution. Children ought to be perceived as active social agents who interact with emergent technologies. This interdisciplinary paradigm augments our understanding of the intricate issues surrounding the digital well-being of children. Childhood studies not only underscore the necessity of exploring prospective developments for children but also places significant emphasis on their current experiences, this paradigm acknowledges children as dynamic and proactive contributors who play a crucial role in the formation of their own culture of health and healthy Lives, thereby making it essential to scrutinize the various dimensions of child health, particularly digital health, from the viewpoints of the children themselves. Conclusion: In order to investigate and attain optimal digital health outcomes for children, it is imperative to adopt an interdisciplinary methodology that not only leverages the advantages offered by artificial intelligence but also prioritizes the preservation of essential human values and interpersonal interactions. Furthermore, the advancement of childhood studies through an interdisciplinary lens has the potential to facilitate more effective planning and policymaking within the domain of children's digital health, thereby fostering a healthier present and future for subsequent generations.
