چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims: AI technologies are now helping the healthcare system achieve patient care goals. Health systems must review their policies and strategies to enhance quality and safety, improve productivity, and enhance employee satisfaction. Despite the promising potential of AI in healthcare, there are also concerns about privacy, security and ethical considerations. As such, it is important to carefully consider the benefits and risks associated with the use of AI in healthcare and ensure that the technology is deployed ethically and responsibly. This study aimed to review the doubts and opportunities of using artificial intelligence in the field of health. Methods: This review study was conducted by searching databases using the keywords Artificial Intelligence, Challenges, Barriers, Opportunities, Nursing, Health system. The STROBE checklist was used to screen and quality control the articles. This review article provides an overview of recent advances in this field, highlights current challenges, and identifies potential opportunities. Results: ۳۳ articles were reviewed between ۲۰۱۴ and ۲۰۲۴, and the results show that artificial intelligence holds promise for improving healthcare. Most of the studies reviewed show that the use of artificial intelligence provides multiple opportunities, including teamwork and decision-making, technological advancement, patient diagnosis and monitoring, drug development, and virtual health assistance. However, the findings suggest that the use of AI in the health sector is hampered by multifaceted challenges, including ethical and privacy issues, lack of awareness, technological unreliability, and professional liability. The findings suggest that AI has the potential to transform healthcare, and addressing these challenges is critical to harnessing its full potential, and addressing these challenges is crucial to fully exploiting its potential. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform healthcare by enabling more accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment plans, and efficient use of resources. However, it is crucial to have realistic expectations and address ethical considerations, such as transparency, fairness, and accountability, in the development, deployment, and use of AI. Future research should also focus on developing standards for evaluating AI algorithms and examining the ethical and legal implications of AI
