چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims: Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the most common birth disorder that causes structural and functional malformations of the heart at birth. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), about ۱.۴۹ to ۲.۰۱ million infants are born with CHD every year. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology can assist in early detection and improved treatment of diseases, such as CHD, especially in settings with limited resources. This study aimed to review applications of artificial intelligence for early detection and Improved treatment of congenital heart diseases. Methods: This article was a systematic review. Related papers were searched using various databases, including PubMed, Scopus, and Google scholar. The time frame was between January ۲۰۱۵ an April ۲۰۲۴. Initially, ۳۰۷ articles were retrieved and after reviewing the titles, keywords, abstracts and full text of the identified sources, finally, ۳۲ articles were included in the study. Results: The results of this study showed that echocardiography using AI algorithm can significantly improve the diagnostic efficiency of fetal CHD during pregnancy. Echocardiography has long become the first choice for the diagnosis of CHD because it is noninvasive, nonradiative, real-time imaging, and low-cost. With the spread of technology AI techniques have indicated the ability to accelerate the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), including heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease and so on. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence as a branch of computer science is a new technological science, simulation and development of human intelligence to deal with complex problems. It imitates the human brain for data processing and has an important role in medicine that can detect, process, integrate and analyze the large quantities of health data. Therefore, Trained AI models can detect abnormal image frames that are difficult for clinicians to identify and improve the diagnosis of CHD. AI-based models can be helpful for physicians in making decisions. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Congenital Heart Diseases
