چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aims: The Internet of Things (IoT) is reshaping modern healthcare by connecting smart medical devices and related applications. This study aims to explore how IoT is being used in the medical field, particularly in improving patient monitoring, personalizing treatments, and streamlining healthcare processes. Methods: We conducted a review of research articles published between ۲۰۲۰ and ۲۰۲۴ across several well-known databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Using keywords like 'IoT in Medicine,' 'Remote Patient Monitoring,' and 'Smart Medical Devices,' we screened and selected ۱۰ relevant articles for in-depth analysis. Results: The findings suggest that IoT enables real-time health monitoring by using smart sensors and wearable technologies to collect patient data such as vital signs and environmental factors. This has shown promising results in managing chronic conditions like diabetes and asthma. When combined with artificial intelligence, IoT can enhance data analysis and predict health trends more accurately. Moreover, connected medical devices have helped reduce healthcare costs, improve diagnostic accuracy, and increase patient safety. Despite these benefits, there are still concerns about data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards. Conclusion: IoT is driving a major shift in healthcare by supporting proactive care and personalized treatment approaches. However, for its full potential to be realized, stronger regulatory frameworks and security measures are essential. With the right safeguards, IoT can greatly improve patient outcomes and make healthcare more accessible and efficient.
