چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims: Three-dimensional (۳D) printing technology is an advanced manufacturing method that enables the creation of complex structures layer by layer from digital models. Unlike traditional manufacturing techniques, which rely on subtractive or molding processes, ۳D printing offers advantages such as customization, increased production speed, cost-effectiveness, and reduced material waste. Given the rising prevalence of chronic diseases and aging populations, healthcare expenditures are increasing globally. Optimizing the production of medical devices through cost-effective and efficient methods can significantly impact healthcare by reducing treatment costs, improving patient outcomes, and promoting a more sustainable healthcare system. Methods: This study reviews the potential of ۳D printing in the medical field, focusing on its integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). The role of these technologies in enhancing the design, production, and application of biomedical devices is examined. Additionally, the impact of AI-powered data analysis and IoMT-enabled real-time monitoring on personalized patient care is explored. Results: The findings suggest that integrating ۳D printing with AI and IoMT enhances the functionality and efficiency of medical devices. IoMT facilitates real-time data collection and remote health monitoring, while AI-driven analytics improve diagnostic accuracy and enable personalized treatment strategies. This combination has the potential to revolutionize medical device manufacturing, leading to more accessible, cost-effective, and high-performance healthcare solutions. Conclusion: Despite existing challenges, the convergence of ۳D printing, AI, and IoMT is expected to play a crucial role in the future of biomedical device development. These technologies collectively improve the design, production, and functionality of medical devices, ultimately enhancing patient care and healthcare sustainability.
