چکیده مقاله:

Violence against children: A global crisis, violence against children is a complex and widespread issue that affects public health, human rights, and social structures. The aim of this article is to examine the causes and consequences of violence against children, focusing on prevention strategies and victim support. The research was based on a review and analysis of secondary sources including lectures, books, and scientific articles. The findings show that violence against children occurs in physical, psychological, and sexual forms in settings such as homes, schools, and care centers, and has devastating effects on the future attitudes and behaviors of child victims. Experiencing violence causes negative attitudes in children and leads them to accept harmful behaviors as normal, which increases the likelihood of committing violent crimes in the future. The conclusion suggests that it is essential for governments and communities to implement deterrent laws, allocate financial resources to protect children, and utilize a restorative justice approach. Providing universal education, creating safe environments, and supporting children’s reintegration into society can play a critical role in combating this crisis. Improving children’s social, economic, and educational well-being will not only ensure a brighter future, but will also help global communities make progress in addressing violence against children.
