چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective: Children’s right to health and adequate nutrition is a fundamental aspect of human rights. In recent decades, the use of transgenic products has expanded as a strategy to increase production and improve food quality. The consumption of these products has detrimental effects on the health and nutritional rights of children and primarily associated with the emergence of behavioral disorders such as hyperactivity or attention deficit disorder, learning difficulties and mood swings. These disorders not only affect the quality of children’s life, but also violate their fundamental rights concerning healthy nutrition, proper growth and ultimately the right to health. This study analyzes the legal aspects related to the nutrition and health of children and the negative effects of using transgenic products. Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in nature, which was collected and analyzed library resources and examines a wide range of documents and procedures and other research works. Findings and Results: The findings of this study indicate that governments have responsibilities to uphold children’s nutritional rights and health. It is essential for them to educate and raise awareness among the general public and families about the negative impacts of transgenic products consumption on children’s health. Furthermore, they can protect children’s rights by adopting comprehensive approaches and formulating laws aimed at prohibiting the production of transgenic products. Ultimately, it is imperative to establish effective regulatory bodies to safeguard the health and nutritional rights of children.
