Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key driver in transforming English language education. By leveraging advanced technologies, AI enables personalized and interactive learning experiences that enhance language acquisition. This review article examines the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in English language education, focusing on its applications, benefits, challenges, and pedagogical implications. AI technologies such as speech recognition, intelligent writing assistants, and adaptive learning platforms have shown great potential in enhancing learners’ speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills by providing personalized, immediate feedback tailored to individual proficiency levels. These tools foster learner autonomy, motivation, and flexibility while addressing limitations in traditional language teaching methods. However, challenges including reduced human interaction, technological constraints in understanding linguistic and cultural nuances, and ethical concerns such as data privacy and algorithmic bias remain significant. The article highlights the necessity of integrating AI with conventional teaching approaches in hybrid models to maximize educational benefits
