چکیده مقاله:
solid-state transformers (SSTs) are key components in modern power systems, offering high efficiency, compact design, and flexible voltage regulation. Due to their fast dynamics and nonlinear behavior, precise control strategies are crucial for their stable operation in applications like smart grids and renewable energy integration. This paper proposes an explicit model predictive control (EMPC) approach to manage the control challenges of SSTs. While traditional model predictive control (MPC) provides effective handling of multivariable systems and constraints, its high computational cost limits real-time applications. EMPC overcomes this by precomputing control laws offline, enabling rapid execution in real-time. solid-state transformers (SSTs) offer significant advantages in terms of efficiency, voltage regulation, and bidirectional power flow for modern power systems. However, their fast dynamics and nonlinear behavior necessitate advanced control strategies. This paper presents an explicit model predictive control (EMPC) approach for SSTs, which addresses the computational challenges of traditional MPC by precomputing control laws offline and applying them in real-time. The proposed method is validated through simulations, showing improved voltage regulation, fast dynamic response, and effective constraint handling.
