This paper presents a high-performance control strategy for a single-phase unipolar inverter, focusing on achieving stable and efficient operation across a wide range of conditions. The PID controller is a widely used control method due to its simplicity, ease of implementation, and effective dynamic response in many practical systems. However, tuning the PID parameters to achieve optimal performance can be challenging, especially in systems with nonlinearities or varying operating conditions. Genetic algorithm, as intelligent optimization technique, provide a powerful tool for determining optimal control parameters by exploring a large solution space efficiently. In this paper, a PID controller is proposed for inverter control, and its parameters are tuned using a genetic algorithm to enhance performance. Simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed method in ensuring a fast and accurate response under various loading conditions.
