چکیده مقاله:

Hydraulic parameters within a fluvial environment can be assessed and interpreted through various methodologies; however, the significance of velocity and discharge rates is paramount. The quantity of sediment bed load transported by rivers exerts a considerable influence on the intrinsic evolution of riverine systems, particularly regarding hydrodynamic and morphodynamic transformations. The present study presents the utilization of the entropy model in rivers characterized by diverse geometric and hydraulic attributes. ۲D velocity were agreed with the observed data through the Amazon River. The findings underscored that the entropy methodology is capable of accurately forecasting velocity distribution and discharge rates, relying exclusively on a single surface velocity measurement with a percentage error that remains below ۱۵%. Additionally, the results pertaining to bed load transport were found to align with the empirical data.
