چکیده مقاله:

Managing mobile phone and social media addiction among students requires a comprehensive and diverse approach. The first step is to increase students' awareness of the consequences of excessive use of mobile phones and social networks. Parents and teachers should provide the necessary information about the negative effects on their mental health, sleep, and social relationships by holding workshops and training sessions. Another point that should be considered is setting specific times for mobile phone use. Creating rules at home or school that include specific times for using devices can help reduce dependence. For example, you can set specific hours for studying and sports activities during which mobile phone use is not allowed. Encouraging side activities can also be effective. Providing more opportunities to participate in sports, arts, or social activities will make students spend more time in the real world instead of spending it in cyberspace. In addition to reducing screen time, these activities help strengthen social relationships and increase their self-confidence. Parents and teachers should also be role models for using technology. If adults spend a reasonable amount of time on their phones and involve them in non-digital activities, students will be encouraged to follow suit. Creating a safe space to talk about the challenges of social media and the pressures students may experience is very important. These conversations can help students feel understood and can raise their concerns without fear of judgment. This can ultimately lead to improved mental health and reduced addiction to mobile phones and social media among them.
