چکیده مقاله:

Despite the unprecedented obstacles created by the COVID-۱۹ pandemic, nursing professional development professionals and nurse educators successfully used educational technology to disseminate an extraordinary volume of critical information needed to deliver care to a community in crisis. Nurses, along with all healthcare professionals, were challenged to find innovative solutions to provide high-quality, safe care to patients. Technology played a significant role in supporting it. The Future of Nursing ۲۰۲۰-۲۰۳۰ Report calls on healthcare systems to employ technology-savvy nurses to leverage digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and other technological innovations to address social determinants of health and health equity. Not only a means of learning, but also a means of influencing the quality and safety of patient care. Although lectures, modules, and in-services have been the mainstay of continuing nursing education, the use of educational technology is now seen as an essential component in creating effective and engaging programs to enhance problem solving, strengthen clinical judgment, and build skill application. The agile adoption of educational technology enabled rapid access and dissemination of information that guided institutions through the uncharted waters of this pandemic and created a blueprint for mass education techniques to guide not only future disaster preparedness and crisis intervention, but also the application of nursing education across all arenas.
