Introduction: People with diabetic foot are prone to depression anxiety and stress due to the nature of their disease. Considering the importance of controlling depression in this group of patients, this study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of Berlin on the Symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress in people with diabetic foot ulcers. Methods and Materials: This double-blind and two-group clinical trial study was conducted in ۲۰۲۳, in which ۸۰ people with diabetic foot ulcers in specialized wound clinics of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, who were eligible to participate in the research, were selected by sampling. were selected and randomly assigned to one of the intervention and control groups. Written consent was received from all the samples to participate in the research. The samples of the test group took capsules containing ۲۰۰ mg (۵۰۰ GDU) of bromelain ۲ times a day for ۴ weeks, and the samples of the control group took the same amount and number of placebo. After the intervention, the 'Dass-۲۱ Scale' was completed again by the samples and the obtained information was analyzed with the help of chi-square, paired t and independent t statistical tests. This research has a code of ethics IR.TUMS.FNM.REC.۱۴۰۰.۲۳۷. Results: The average score of depression, anxiety and stress of people with diabetic foot ulcers in the experimental group before taking the drug was ۱۶.۰۲ ± ۱.۴۴, ۱۱.۶۲ ± ۱.۲۵, ۱۳.۶۵ ± ۱.۸۱ respectively, and after the intervention it was ۱۰.۴۵ ± ۱.۴۴, ۷.۲۵ ± ۱.۱۷, ۱.۷۲ respectively. ± ۱۰.۸۰ changed. Also, the average of this index in the control group before the intervention was ۱۵.۵۰ ± ۳.۲۵, ۱۱.۵۵ ± ۳.۴۳, ۱۳.۲۲ ± ۳.۳۳ and after the intervention it reached ۱۵.۱۵ ± ۱.۸۷, ۱۲.۲۲ ± ۲.۱۵, ۱۳.۱۷ ± ۲.۳۴. There was a statistically significant difference between the average indices of depression (p ≥ ۰.۰۰), anxiety (p-≥-۰.۰۲) and stress (p-≥-۰.۰۰) in the test group before and after the intervention.
