چکیده مقاله:

Gender roles and identity are key concepts in children's social and psychological development. Gender identity refers to a person's sense of self as a man, woman, or any other gender identity and is shaped by biological, cultural, and social factors.Children begin to learn and understand gender roles from a very young age. This process usually occurs through family interactions, media, and educational environments. Gender roles can influence children's behavior, career choices, and social relationships, ultimately influencing the formation of their identities.Research shows that gender discrimination and social expectations can lead to serious limitations on children's growth and development. For this reason, awareness of gender roles and identity and creating a supportive and free environment for expressing different identities are of great importance.Ultimately, addressing identity and gender diversity in educational and social programs can help improve children's mental and social health and prepare them for life in a diverse and equal society.
