evaluation of physical and rheological properties for unaged and aged polymer modifid bitumens

using sbs to improving the bitumens properties encouraged application of this additive as an effective modifier in this research the effects of adding thermoplastic -elastomeric styrene -butadiene -sty rene SBS and vacuum bottom VB on 60/70 bitumen properties were considered which has widespread application in roads of iran evaluations have been carried out on unaged and aged bitumens using classicand SHRP testing methods based on classic tests results addition of SBS led to increasing fotening point elastic recovery ductility and viscosity of bitumen and reduced the penetration of specimens penetration index increased which indicateds the beneficial effects of sbs on temperature susceptibility .
