Synthesis of Nanoliposomes Loaded with Pistachio Extract

Pistachio kernel extract has many properties, including antimicrobial, antitumor and antioxidant properties. But using them traditionally has disadvantages such as low absorption, oxidation and adverse effects. One of the drug strategies to overcome this problem is the use of nanocarriers. In this study, liposomes were used to encapsulate pistachio phenolic extract. Analysis with scanning electron microscopy showed that the liposomes produced were synthesized as spheres measuring ۱۰۰ nm. The effectiveness of pistachio extract encapsulation in the final nanoliposomal formulation was calculated to be about ۶۰%.
