چکیده مقاله:

Emotion regulation refers to the process by which individuals manage and evaluate their emotions to adapt to various situations. Social relationships are the connections individuals have with those around them, including close relationships with family, friends, and colleagues, as well as interactions with strangers. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between emotional acceptance and social relationship disorders in adolescents. A sample of ۹۳ adolescents aged ۱۲ to ۱۸ years was selected using convenience sampling. Research tools included emotion regulation and social anxiety questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. The results indicated that emotion regulation is significantly influenced by gender, with females demonstrating greater ability in this area compared to males. Additionally, the inability to manage emotions was found to increase social isolation, while the regulation of negative emotions positively contributed to reducing social isolation among youth. These findings highlight the importance of psychological interventions aimed at enhancing emotion regulation skills and improving adolescents' social relationships.
