چکیده مقاله:
The emergence of the concept of citizenship can be considered to coincide with the emergence of the first governments. Governments get their credit and power from the citizens and in return they have duties and responsibilities towards the citizens. The citizen also has reciprocal duties in relation to the government. This issue is one of the main and central issues of contemporary law, which has long been the focus of Islam. From the point of view of Islam, God Almighty is the creator of the laws governing citizens and human societies, and the citizen is obliged to follow and obey the laws and orders of God, in the shadow of fulfilling the rights of citizenship, to ensure his worldly and hereafter happiness. One of the important topics in the field of citizenship rights is the foundations and principles on which citizenship rights are based. Considering this issue, in the present article, by studying legal works and referring to authentic Islamic sources, especially the tradition and life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), as much as possible, the basic principles and foundations of citizenship rights have been examined.
