چکیده مقاله:

One of the religious challenges in today's world is the publication of false, biased, and insulting images and content against religious saints, including the beloved Prophet of Islam (PBUH) by the media. This action of the media is not only incompatible with the principles of professional ethics and social responsibility, and even in many cases, it leads to the igniting of war and hatred among the followers of different religions in the world. In fact, such actions of the media are a form of their association with belligerent policies and double standards of governments. At the same time, the world today is tired of the unjust behavior, deceitful and bellicose policies of governments and is very thirsty for peace and tranquility. Therefore, in such a situation, instead of publishing hateful and provocative content, the media should help the nations to better understand each other and to strengthen the spirit of good neighborliness and peace between nations regardless of race, gender, language, and religion. This article tried to analyze the issue of why the media sometimes attack religious sanctities and face the world today with many challenges, including religious challenges without paying attention to professional ethics and international declarations and resolutions, using the descriptive-analytical method and referring to the international agreements and resolutions related to the principles of professional ethics, and how can we deal with such challenging actions? And finally, how can the media help to expand international understanding between religions?
