Introduction: The emergence of puberty and the resulting physiological changes provide a favorable environment for the emergence of stress and psychological and social disorders. The results of epidemiological studies conducted in the last two decades show that in ۲-۸% of patients with depression, the average age of onset of the first symptoms was ۱۶ years. There is other evidence that these people are more likely to suffer from anxiety, social dysfunction, academic decline, and even suicidal tendencies in the coming years. These people are more likely to suffer from severe depression. In ۱۹۹۸, a study of the mental health of adolescents in the United States showed that more than ۴ million children aged ۹-۱۷ have experienced mental disorders that have affected their daily lives in some way. A ۱۹۹۹ report by the American Society of Surgeons entitled 'Child and Adolescent Mental Health' shows that ۷۴% of ۲۱-year-olds with mental disorders have a history of these disorders in adolescence. These people are more likely to suffer from severe depression, anxiety, social dysfunction, academic decline, and even suicidal tendencies in the coming years. Compared to the extensive studies conducted on adult mental health in Iran and other countries around the world, the belief that mental disorders do not occur during adolescence has led to a large portion of adolescents who suffer from some form of mental health disorder being ignored by health officials, and this segment of society has the least contribution to prevention and treatment planning. This issue in our country - mental illnesses. Adolescent students, especially girls, face a lot of stress in life that can endanger their physical and mental health. They are one of the affected groups that faced a lot of damage after the corona pandemic. Adolescent students, especially the results of recent studies have shown serious attention to their health, especially in the cities that were the focus of this disease, so this study was conducted with the aim of investigating stress and its impact on the mental health of teenage students in Rasht city after the covid-۱۹ pandemic, became.
