Yoga, an ancient practice rooted in Indian philosophy, has gained global recognition for its holistic benefits across physical, mental, and spiritual domains. This review synthesizes findings from studies spanning ۲۰۱۱–۲۰۲۴ to evaluate yoga’s efficacy in promoting health and well-being among diverse populations, including students, athletes, cancer patients, pregnant women, and the general public. Evidence highlights yoga’s role in enhancing physical fitness, reducing stress and anxiety, improving mental clarity, and fostering emotional resilience. Specific benefits include improved cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health, better sleep quality, and reduced symptoms of chronic conditions such as pain, depression, and hypertension. Yoga’s adaptability across contexts—education, sports, healthcare, and daily life—underscores its potential as a cost-effective, accessible intervention. Despite promising results, challenges such as heterogeneous interventions and the need for standardized research persist. This review advocates for yoga’s integration into modern lifestyles and systems to address contemporary health challenges.
