چکیده مقاله:
The construction industry is responsible for emitting ۴۰% of the world's greenhouse gases, leading to environmental concerns and increased energy costs. As global awareness of environmental issues grows, there is an increasing effort to reduce energy consumption and provide practical solutions. One critical factor in this effort is the materials used for building envelope. Walls act as a barrier between the comfortable indoor environment and the variable outdoor climate, making them the front line of defense against thermal loss and gain. Different wall materials have vastly different thermal performance characteristics that can significantly affect the amount of energy required to maintain indoor comfort. From insulation properties to thermal mass potential, the choice of wall materials influences the energy performance of buildings. In light of this, after reviewing existing studies, questions were raised that, in seeking to answer, first through building information modeling in Revit software and then through comparative analysis of energy results in brick walls and ۳D Sandwich panels, led to the conclusion that the choice of wall materials has notable consequences for building energy consumption. Furthermore, the shift towards sustainable materials can lead to reduced energy costs over the lifecycle of the building.
