چکیده مقاله:
Severe plastic deformation processes are crucial for improving the grain structure and mechanical properties of metals, thereby enhancing their strength and reducing the size of final components. Among these processes, the Equal Channel Angular Pressing method has been studied numerically in this research using finite element simulation. The effect of the angle between the inlet and outlet sections of the die on the equivalent plastic strain distribution generated in a single stage of the process was investigated. The results for pure copper indicate that increasing the angle from ۹۰° to ۱۲۰° reduces the maximum equivalent strain by ۶۲%.
