چکیده مقاله:
The purpose of this article is to review the mechanism of Titanium and Ruthenium oxide coating formation and the application of these oxides. By using Titanium and Ruthenium salts in water and alcohol with certain volume ratios, these coatings can be created by the electrical deposition method. The mechanism of oxide formation of these materials is through the formation of hydroxides or peroxides. In this process, Ruthenium metal ions are hydrolyzed by electric bases and deposited as hydroxide films on the substrate. Then they are dehydrated by heat treatment at ۵۰۰ °C and turn into oxides. However, hydrogen peroxide is used to prepare titanium oxide coating due to rapid hydrolytic precipitation in water. As a result, first a peroxide deposit is created and then it is transformed into titanium oxide with a desert-like morphology under heat treatment at ۶۰۰ °C. The mixed coating of these oxides is used as anodes with stable dimensions in the chloralkali industry. The purpose of using these coatings is long life, no environmental problems and reduction of excess voltage.
