چکیده مقاله:

This study focuses on the determination of grain size in crystalline titanium alloys using various Williamson-Hall (W-H) methods applied to X-ray diffraction (XRD) data. Titanium alloys are widely used in aerospace and other industries due to their high strength, excellent composition, and resistance to corrosion. The research investigates the different phases present in titanium alloys, including α, β, martensite, and ω, and their behavior at room temperature. XRD was employed to analyze the crystalline structure and phases of the alloys, with data obtained from the XPert Pro MPPD device. The study uses the Williamson-Hall method to analyze diffraction peak broadening, considering both crystallite size and lattice strain. This method is instrumental in identifying and characterizing the structural features of titanium alloys, contributing to a better understanding of their mechanical and chemical properties. Additionally, the Uniform Deformation Model (UDM) was discussed to account for deviations from ideal crystal structures, where diffraction peak broadening is linked to both crystal size and strain.
