The present study was conducted with the aim of The Effects of Text -Based and CALL -Based Tasks on EFL learners’ Grammar Knowledge. In this design, participants are randomly assigned to one of the experimental or control groups, and each group receives a different level of the independent variable (in this case, either text -based or CALL -based tasks). The groups are then compared on the dependent variable (in this case, grammar knowledge) to determine if there are significant differences between the groups. A total of ۱۴۰ Persian EFL learners, aged ۱۸ to ۳۰, were recruited from university students in Qom, Iran. Participants were recruited through convenience sampling, and they were informed about the purpose and procedures of the study. To collect the required data in this study, two types of instruments were employed. First, an Oxford Placement Test (OPT) was used and then two sets of parallel grammar tests were given to the students. All analyses were conducted using statistical software, SPSS. The results confirms that text -based and CALL -based exercises are equally successful in improving grammar acquisition.
