Recently, Electric Vehicles (EVs) have assumed increasing importance, attracting attention due to considerations of environmental factors like cost dynamics, recycling practices and overall operational efficiency. As the EV sector continues to evolve, it faces challenges and opportunities that require a multifaceted approach. Economic variables, cultural differences and strategic marketing play an essential role in shaping the path of this industry. We present a research on exploration of the industry's competitive landscape, positioning, and future trajectories. For this research, we employ a SWOT analysis to show the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats inherent in the EV industry. Simultaneously, we employ Porter's generic strategy to emphasize the importance of differentiation as well as cost leadership in a market of rapid growth and revolutionary change. Finally, we have delineated some strategies to help a presumed EV company to compete better, based on our market analysis.
