چکیده مقاله:

The use of genetic information in designing personalized diets has gained attention as a novel approach for managing and preventing chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity. This systematic review aims to assess the impact of genetic-based diets on health markers and metabolism. From ۵۱۲ articles identified, ۳۴ studies met the inclusion criteria. Results showed that genetic-based personalized diets had positive effects on weight reduction, better blood sugar control, and improvement in lipid profiles. These approaches also increased patient adherence to dietary regimens and enhanced overall satisfaction. Genetic-based diets, by offering precise and personalized recommendations, can play a significant role in managing chronic diseases. However, further research is needed to better assess the long-term effects of these methods and to identify practical barriers, such as high costs.
